Born in London, I went to study at OSH School in the West Midlands. My upbringing there plays a significant part in the person I am today. The values and ethics that shape my personality were forged there and importantly; the skills learnt to understanding art and creativity.
I went on to study architectural engineering and following graduation, worked in the expedition industry before going on to become a graphic designer amongst a number of different roles in different companies across different industries. Ultimately taking the leap of faith and becoming the artist I am today and do full time what I have done in the background for as long as I can remember.
My greatest inspiration and motivation is my son. To give him every opportunity in life and to inspire him to become everything he can be. To show him courage, ambition, drive and determination; I wanted to set an example and in doing so be proud of myself and to make him and my family proud of me.
Additionally I would like to enhance our education system and promote more creative opportunities to allow all children to think for themselves and fulfil their true potential.
Away from work; I love being in the outdoors no matter what the weather. There is something quite magical about a journey and fortunate to have seen parts of the world that are truly beautiful. Sport and exercise became a huge part of my later youth and something I absolutely make time for to ensure I maintain my health and mental wellbeing. Last but not least, trying as much amazing global cuisine as possible and watching fabulous films that provide quotes that will last a lifetime.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, talented, gorgeous, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.”
